In the financial year 2023-2024, the Agency planned to implement a total of 1,546 water and sanitation projects in 25 regions of the country, costing Tshs 500,342,398,033.25. The projects are expected to serve about 2,274,193 people in 844 villages. Up to December 31, 2023, a total of 374 projects costing Tshs 128,177,655,882 had been completed.
RUWASA is continuing with the implementation of the remaining 1,172 projects to fulfill the government's mandate to provide clean, safe, and reliable water supply and sanitation services in rural areas.
