Community Based Water Organizations  (CBWSO) are registered with the RUWASA District Manager after the Community meets the registration requirements.

The RUWASA District Manager may monitor the registration of Community Based Water and Sanitation Organizations if he or she is dissatisfied with the conduct of the relevant project. Refer to Regulation No.829 / 05/11/2019, 21 (1)

Water tariffs are recommended by the project management of the relevant CBWSO in accordance with the water price guidelines prepared by RUWASA. In addition, a water levy is authorized by the RUWASA Board.
