Minister of Water Hon. Jumaa Aweso has officially opened the training on Public Service Ethics, Leadership, and Professionalism, as well as Education on Preventing and Fighting Corruption for the Management of the Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA) which is ongoing at the Ubungo Plaza in Dar es Salaam today October 27, 2022 where he praised the Agency for the speed and quality of implementing Rural Water projects and leading the Water sector to be number one for the implementation and quality of projects in the inspection conducted during the National Torch Run this year.

Minister Aweso gave these praises and compliments during his opening speech of the training, where he said that the weapon and secret of success in the sector he leads is to work hard, honesty, integrity, and based on professionalism.

Initially giving information about the training to the official guest, the Director General of RUWASA Engineer Clement KIVEGALO said that it was aimed at increasing the professionalism, trust and integrity of the employees as one of the ways to increase efficiency in serving the people. The Water sector, especially the Rural Water area, has made good strides to the point that it was announced by the National Torchbearer team as number one in the country, so that is a new challenge for him as the Chief Executive and for all RUWASA employees to increase their hard work with great professionalism.

And Hon. Kheri James, Head of Ubungo District praised RUWASA and the water sector in general for the success achieved during the short term of the leadership of Minister Aweso while calling for unity, love, and cooperation for employees in the work to further enrich this important sector in life of Tanzanians.
