Minister of Water Hon. Jumaa Aweso has inaugurated the new Board of Directors of the Rural Water Supply  and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA) in an event held at the PSSSF hall in Dodoma on June 27, 2023.

The board under its Chairman Engineer Ruth Koya will serve for three years where in his speech Hon. Minister Aweso said he has great confidence in the board due to the experience of its members in the Water Sector in general.

Minister Aweso also "poured praise" on the First Board of RUWASA that ended its term under its Chairman Prof. Idrissa Mshoro who has served for a period of three years after the establishment of RUWASA, for the great work of leading and managing the Agency in the responsibilities of designing, constructing, and providing sanitation services to citizens living in rural areas.
