Retired President of the fourth phase Hon. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete has visited the booth of the Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA) which is present at the International Water Scientific Conference 2024, which is ongoing at Mlimani City Hall Dar es Salaam for three days starting on the 31 January, 2024.

After being given information about RUWASA and its work as well as being shown the rainwater harvesting technology that RUWASA has been educating residents especially in rural areas to use, retired Kikwete has insisted on providing more education including educating the stakeholders on how to conserve the water they harvest and the cost of the drugs used to treat them so that they do not spoil.
