This Unit performs the following functions:-

Develop and implement Agency’s Public Relations Policy; |

Raise public awareness on rural communities in sanitation,
hygiene education; and protection and conservation of water sources; |
|
iii) |
Foster cooperation between the Agency with local and international
organizations; |
|
iv) |
Develop and implement market strategy and plans; |
|
v) |
Coordinate Agency’s advertisement to the public regarding its
operations; |
|
vi) |
Conduct publicity program for promotion of RUWASA image; |
|
vii) |
Update Agency information on the website and link the Agency
on social media regarding quarries; |
|
viii) |
Prepare Communication Strategy and Framework for RUWASA; |
|
ix) |
Exploit Information and Communication Technologies to improve
RUWASA visibility and access vide the social media; |
|
x) |
Prepare various media and press briefings in multi-media
format; |
|
xi) |
Promote community participation and public education regarding
water supply and sanitation services in collaboration with partners and
stakeholders; |
|
xii) |
Coordinate preparation, production and dissemination of brochures, articles and newsletters to the Public; |
|
xiii) |
Develop and implement market plans and strategy; |

xiv |
Conduct market surveys; |

xv) |
Evaluate marketing activities and recommend improvements; |

Prepare materials for promoting RUWASA business; and |

Coordinate Press Briefings |
